An uber-science nerd from Kentucky, Blay always thought surfing was the coolest sport but never imagined she'd be athletic enough to give it a go. In fact you, dear reader, might have the same idea - that you will never be able to surf for any number of reasons.

Well, screw that negative no-can-do attitude! Never one to let her dignity stand in the way of an adventure, Blay took up her 15 ft long foam board and set off to be pummeled by Fall Hurricane swell.
